Audio Cassette to CDTwo Squares now has increased capacity to transfer audio cassettes to CD and other digital formats. In order to copy a cassette tape to a CD, it is necessary to preprocess the magnetic media through a dehydration process, play back on a high quality and tuned cassette deck, capture with a studio grade analog-to-digital box, and then post-process using professional grade software. In order to convert a cassette tape to an MP3, a similar process is used all the way through the post-processing, with the only exception being the final encoding at the end. Two Squares uses professional grade MP3 codecs that create exceptionall high quality sound at reasonable bitrates. Further information on copying a tape to CD or MP3 can be found on the page tapetocd.html |
